My biggest take from LeadHERship is the misconception that the quality of my work will speak for itself. This belief made it okay to be in the background and keep my head down. The program offered an opportunity to put myself first, and focus on my needs, on a professional and personal level. I have since learned that networking and personal branding are key ingredients to accelerate my career goals. Moving forward, I will be bold and show up for myself.
