OVERVIEW OF the programme

The AMARA Women in Automotive programme is a pioneering initiative designed to empower women with the essential soft skills required to excel and advance in their careers. With a focus on personal development, collaboration, and strategic insights, this programme addresses the unique challenges and opportunities within the automotive industry. By fostering a supportive environment, it aims to cultivate a sense of community and solidarity among women professionals, enabling them to support and elevate each other.

Important to note that the programme is SETA-accredited, meeting the unit standard for ‘Apply the principles and concepts of emotional intelligence to the management of self and others’ –  SAQA ID 252031, NQF Level 5, 4 Credits. The programme can be classified as a learning programme “E” and all the associated costs can be counted towards your BEE SD target spend, due to the SETA accreditation.

This comprehensive programme is tailored specifically for women in the automotive industry, recognizing the sector’s historical male dominance and the pressing need for greater diversity and inclusion.
